You can think of a brushed nickel finish as looking more like stainless steel and, therefore, it can tie in with stainless steel kitchen appliances very nicely
Brushed nickel and stainless steel often look very similar, but the difference is in their underlying tone: brushed nickel tends to have a golden or brownish tint while stainless steel has a faintly blue tone

PVD stands for Physical Vapour Deposition and it’s a process in how the brushed nickel finish is applied to the tapware. The method requires an intense application process and involves vacuum deposition shifting from a solid state to a vapour which is applied as a thin film to the tapware and condenses into a solid state.
